For makers of tablet, capsule, blister and liquid filling machines

Be found when pharma plants compare machine makers.

Pharma buyers compare tablet presses, capsule fillers and blister packers on compliance as much as on output. Validation documents and GMP design decide the shortlist. Track whether you are on it.

What buyers check before they call

Where pharma machinery orders slip away
  • Your page does not mention validation documents, so a quality team rules you out early.
  • AI tools name large brands for "cGMP tablet press" and skip capable mid-size makers.
  • Buyers abroad cannot tell which markets your machines are already supplied to.
  • Spares and change-part searches for your models lead to third-party sellers.
Pages that win the enquiry
  • One page per machine with output, stations or tooling, and contact materials
  • A compliance page: cGMP design, validation documents and software controls
  • Installed base by country and type of plant
  • Change parts and spares, by model
  • Videos of machines running with real product

Questions

Questions

Do pharma buyers really search online for machinery?

Yes, especially early in a project, when engineering and quality teams build the vendor list for a new tablet, capsule or liquid line. Clear compliance pages decide whether you make that list before any call happens.

Across industrial buying in general, Gardner Business Media finds buyers have finished more than 55% of the purchase process by the time they contact a vendor. (Gardner Business Media, 2026) In pharma, that early research is often done by younger engineers who search "rapid mixer granulator", "fluid bed dryer manufacturer" or "cgmp tablet press", and increasingly ask AI tools for a list.

What they check online:

  • cGMP design and contact materials.
  • Which validation documents (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) you supply.
  • Whether controls support 21 CFR Part 11 where their markets require it.
  • Output per hour, stations or tooling, and changeover time.
  • Service and spares support near their plant.

If any of these are missing, a quality team may rule you out without telling you. You never see the enquiry you lost.

Make sure each machine has its own page with these points written out, and ask every enquiry how they first found you. Within a few months you will see how much of your pipeline started online.

Can we track searches in export markets?

Yes. Set the market to the countries you supply, such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh or the US, and track the same pharma machinery searches there week by week.

Leaders for "blister packing machine manufacturer" in India are often different from the leaders for the same search in Dubai or Lagos, where European and Chinese makers compete too. Export buyers also type differently, for example "tablet press supplier India" or "cGMP capsule filling machine export".

What export pharma buyers need to see:

  • Installed base by country and type of plant, ideally with regulators those plants are audited by.
  • Documentation in English: validation protocols, manuals, material certificates for contact parts.
  • Software controls that meet the rules of their market, such as 21 CFR Part 11 for plants supplying the US.
  • Service model: local agent, remote support, spares dispatch times.

EEPC India puts the country's engineering exports for FY 2025-26 at a record USD 122.43 billion, (EEPC India, 2026) and machinery for pharma plants is part of that flow. Pick two or three markets where you already have machines running, track 10 to 15 searches in each, and write one page per market showing installations there. The Google Visibility view handles each market separately.

Should we publish validation document details on our website?

Yes, describe what you supply, but do not publish the documents themselves. A quality head wants to know before the first call whether you provide DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ support, and a page that says so clearly keeps you on the list.

What to state on a compliance page:

  • Which validation documents come with each machine, and whether you help execute IQ and OQ on site.
  • Contact part materials and the certificates supplied (for example, material test certificates for SS 316L parts).
  • Surface finish of product contact parts.
  • Software features such as audit trails, user levels and electronic records, and whether they are designed to support 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) procedures.

Keep claims exact. Say "controls designed to support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance" only if true, and never claim a machine is "approved" by a regulator, because regulators approve plants and processes, not machines.

A sample protocol table of contents, with confidential details removed, is a strong proof point. Buyers can attach it to an internal note, and AI tools can describe your validation support accurately when asked. Pages that leave out validation details are a common reason a quality team rules out a capable mid-size maker early.

How do we get named when AI is asked for a cGMP tablet press maker?

Publish plain, specific pages for each machine and for your compliance support, and make sure other trusted sites say the same about you. AI tools often name large brands for "cGMP tablet press" because those brands describe their machines in detail, not only because they are large.

What AI tools need to see on your site:

  • A page for each press with stations, maximum output per hour, maximum tablet diameter, compression force and contact materials.
  • A compliance page covering cGMP design, validation documents and software controls.
  • Installed base by country and type of plant.
  • Videos of machines running real product.

What they need to see elsewhere: your company on industry directories, exhibition exhibitor lists such as CPHI or iPHEX, trade press coverage and LinkedIn, with the same name and product descriptions.

AI answers vary from run to run. In SparkToro's study of 2,961 prompts across ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews, each prompt was run 60 to 100 times per platform, (Search Engine Land, 2026) and the lists rarely repeated. Judge your progress by how often you are named across many checks. Live AI Monitoring runs your buyer questions every week and records who is named.

How do we tell which pharma machinery enquiries came from Google or AI?

Ask every enquirer how they found you, record the answer in one log, and add the order value when a purchase order arrives. Website analytics alone will miss most of the trail in pharma machinery.

Why analytics falls short: an engineer may read your granulator page on Google, an AI tool may name you weeks later, and the actual enquiry may come as an email from the purchase head or a call from a consultant. None of that links back to the first visit.

A simple process that works:

  1. Add "How did you first hear about us?" to your website form, with options such as Google, ChatGPT or another AI tool, exhibition, referral, IndiaMART.
  2. Ask the same question on every phone call and email, and record it.
  3. Mark each enquiry won or lost, and add the order value when won.
  4. Review the split monthly.

Pharma orders are large and slow, with many months between first contact and order, so give it at least two quarters before judging. Even a handful of won orders traced to search can justify the work.

The monthly enquiries-and-revenue report in Live AI Monitoring does this for you, counting only what was recorded, never estimated.
