Market Signal
Editorial standards
Market Signal is the daily software industry briefing from WebVisiblity. It is written for B2B marketers and software buyers who need to know what changed, why it matters and what to watch, without the noise.
How a briefing is made
- Our editors pick one story a day that matters to software buyers, often one covered by several outlets at once.
- We go to the primary source wherever one exists: the company announcement, the filing, the regulator or the research itself.
- Every fact in a briefing is tied to a numbered source. Each claim is checked against those sources before publishing.
- We write in our own words and quote people only with their exact words and name.
Sources
Each briefing lists its sources with links, publishers and dates. Primary sources are marked. We use research tools to find and organise sources; the judgement on what to publish is our editors'.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we correct it and say so at the top of the briefing, with the time of the change. Every change is listed in the update history at the end of the briefing. To report an error, email hello@webvisiblity.com.
Independence
We do not accept payment for coverage. WebVisiblity sells AI visibility tools; when a story involves a company we work with or compete with, we say so in the briefing.
Pictures
We use our own graphics, official company images and images we have the right to use, with credit.
